Jan 30, 2015 Vampire Lego Set

I bought a Vampire Castle Lego set for Halloween but my mom wanted us to put it together, already.   At least, it gives her something to do.  We both enjoyed doing it and it came out pretty cool. 🙂

She made the castle look tall…

This is how the box had it.  But I think it looks good both ways.

Oct 24-31, 2014 Queen Mary, Haunted Trail, Mickey’s Party and Halloween

2014-10-31 20.56.44

Omg, I finally have time to write on here!   Anyways, I’m hoping to have a little more time this month to write on my blog.

On Friday, my friend wanted to show me Halloween town props store.  Loved it!  I always passed by it but never went in.  I’m glad I got a chance to.

Stuffed dead animals at a store next door.  Eww..

We then headed to Long Beach and ate at Parkers Lighthouse  for lunch.  Nice view and good food.  We had sashimi, pasta, and dessert.

A few of us went to Queen Mary Dark Harbor during the night.  I really liked it and recommend it!  We did fast pass cause the lines get pretty long later in the evening.  We got to go through each maze twice.  The mazes were long, btw so I think it was worth it.

Saturday, I took my mom to Boney Island cause I heard about it being popular and it’s not too far.  The creater of a popular cartoon, I forget which one, made some halloween decor in his yard where everyone goes to see.  I thought it was ok.  It’s probably, cute for little kids.

Later, I dropped her off and met my friend to do Sherwood scare.  I’ve been to it earlier with my other friend but my friend wanted to check it out since he lived right down the street from it.  This is a backyard maze I strongly recommend.  We went to a bar called Little Rock after for a drink since I hadn’t seen him in a while, then left.  My drink..

Sunday, it was Paul’s birthday at the store.  Hawaii 5.0 themed so there was hawaiian food which I like.  A friend took a pic of me eating and sent it to me!  Pigging out on Hawaiian food!

We went to another backyard maze a couple friends wanted to check out before heading to Denny’s for a shake.  We played cards against humanity which is always fun. Wow, I’ve been to a lot of mazes this year and I’m doing more and it’s not Halloween, yet.  I think I’m about to be Halloweened out by the end of this month.  It was nice seeing what was out there, though this year and I had fun in each and every one.

On Monday, I went with a friend to see the Nightmare Before Christmas in 3D and 4D at El Capitan theater in Hollywood.  It was good.  We had sushi for dinner.  Then, I had RPG at the store and went home.

Tuesday, we headed down to Temecula to the Big Horse corn maze.  It was pretty simple for us cause we did that huge one earlier in the month.  We ate at a chamorro restaurant in San Diego then headed to a Haunted Trail nearby.  We stopped at a pet store next door and these lizards were hamming it up for us.  I really like the Haunted trail.  It was a mile long outdoors and had some really cool scary parts.  I would definitely, go back again sometime.  We also, did their maze.

Wednesday, some of us went to Mickey’s Halloween Party at Disneyland.  You can arrive 3 hours early so we did and rode some rides.  I liked how they decorated space mountain, thunder mountain, and haunted mansion for Halloween.  Later, at night we got some candy at the trick or treat stations. 🙂

I think I’m stocked for the year! 😉 IMG_20141030_101857-2

Thursday, I brought my mom to the ghost train at Griffith.  It’s a good attraction for kids.  My mom liked it cause it’s not scary.

IMG_20141030_192040 IMG_20141030_201609

Friday, was Halloween!  My friend invited me to Hello Kitty con so guess where I went?  Hello Kitty con.  Btw, I still think she’s a cat even though SOME people (like my friend) thinks she’s only a girl.  When I asked him to explain the white thing that (I see) as a TAIL sticking out of her butt, he says is white poo.  Yeah, right!  And those people who think that she’s only a girl and not a cat are also, crazy baffoons!  Anyways, it was a cool interesting con I never knew existed.  Later, I met up with my other friend.  Her and I went trick or treating around a nice neighborhood where they always have a decent amount of candy.

We ate sushi for lunch.  Oyster shooters!

After, I met with my other friend and we went to magic mountain fright fest.  The mazes were so so.  We didn’t ride any rides.  And it started raining hard toward the end of the night.  Anyways, I still had a good time and month.  :).

Oct 14-22, 2014 Huntington Library, Pierce Fright Fair, and Backyard haunts.

Tuesday, I think I stayed home.  I honestly, don’t remember.  I’m having a hard time blogging cause I’ve been pretty busy but I’ll try at least, weekly to.  Wednesday, I went to the screening of Insidious 3.  It was really good!  I thought Insidious 1 was okay and never saw the 2nd one but the 3rd was really good!  Good scary parts.  Thursday, I met up with my friend Eric who had guest passes to the Huntington Library.  We spent most of the day walking around.

We then went to a sushi restaurant in Pasadena for lunch.  We played at GEP after.

I liked this one.  Similar to zombicide and not much set up.IMG_20141016_170228

Friday, after work, I took my mom to a Haunt Adventure in Burbank.  She doesn’t like when it’s too scary so I took her to a place for kids cause they tend to have non scary events.  There was a maze there that wasn’t scary but it was pretty good for what it was.  It was like a regular haunt maze but the monsters came out a little ahead of time so you’re not too scared.  It was only $5 and I think it was worth the price.  Saturday, my friends and I went to Pierce Fright Fair for the first time.  I’ve never been but heard of it before.  I thought the mazes were pretty good.  I usually, go to Halloween Horror nights every year but wanted to try some other mazes this year.

A ghost flew through our picture. 😉20141018_213752

Sunday, I went with my friend to Ipic again and we saw Dracula.  It was okay good.  We went to Sherwood scare and Backwoods maze after which is always good.  Monday, my mom had labs early in the morning so I did a bunch of errands after since we were already out.  I went to RPG at night.  Tuesday, I stayed home most of the day and cleaned. It always feels good to clean!  Today, I’m going to EK. 🙂

Northern California – Day 3 of 3

Northern California Day 3

I woke up around 8am to go swim in the pool.  I wanted to swim before we had to check out.  Holiday Inn Express usually offers breakfast, so I grabbed breakfast before I headed back to my room.  My friend and I had seperate rooms so we did our own thing till about 11am.  After we checked out, we went up to San Francisco to the San Francisco Dungeon.  I really liked this attraction.  It was interesting and different.  They showed some history of San Francisco but in a dark way, I guess.  Anyway, I thought it was cool.  I got some souvenirs.

IMG_20141016_111147 IMG_20141016_110837

Syringe pen.

We then walked a little in Fisherman’s wharf and drove across the golden gate bridge.  It was my first time on the bridge so we drove on it just so I can see it cause last time I went to San Fran when another friend of mine lived there we took the bart in, which is underground so I never got to drive on it.

Then, we headed south to San Martin.  We stopped at a pumpkin patch called, Uesagi Farms.  It was mostly for little kids but we checked it out.  We got the package deal which included a little train ride, enchanted hay ride, 3 corn mazes, and a pumkin blaster.  I liked the hay ride, butterfly maze (where you’ll learn about butterflies), and the pumpkin blaster.  There was another maze that was not bad, either where you have to solve things to get out.

IMG_20141013_191820We stopped at Pismo Beach (where I’ve stayed before and really liked), to stretch.  It’s a very small town so it was very quiet when we were there.  All we heard were the sounds of the waves.

Northern California – Day 2 of 3

Northern California Day 2

We woke up and had breakfast across the street at McDonald’s.  We headed to Dixon to the Cool Patch Pumpkins for their corn maze.  They have the largest corn maze in the world and was listed in the Guinness book of world records for having a 45 acre maze in 2010.  This year is their biggest at right under 60 acres.  We had a lot of fun completeing it!  There are 4 bridges throughout you will be able to go up and look down to see how far you’ve come.  Bring water and sunscreen if you plan on doing this maze.

After we were done, we drove back to the hotel, and got ready to go to a haunt called, Pirates of Emerson.  It was located in Pleasanton.  This attraction was so much fun!  I’d definitely, come back.  We did 6 mazes and the ticket booth said we could do it a 2nd time through if we wanted.  We didn’t have enough time to do all a second time but we tried.  They had some cool games and the psychic they had there that read my tarot reading was spot on!  Everything she said, I had just said on the ride there to my friend which was so weird.  The Pirates of Emerson was definitely, worth checking out on this trip.

We bowled with some heads.

After, we wanted to grab dinner since we had no time eat in the day so we went to Denny’s cause it was the only thing openned that late.

Oct 1-7, 2014 Halloween Month

Wednesday, I started decorating.  Rarrr!

You scared?

I got the Jason silhouette from Comic Con and my friend bought me BANG walking dead game.  I like the regualar BANG so can’t wait to play it!

Thursday, my mom and I read all morning then went to the library to pick up a Halloween cartoon movie and a scary book.  Each week in October we’re watching a Halloween related movie.  One week, an old Halloween movie, next week a new one, and so forth.  This week since October just started, we thought we’d start simple and just watch a cartoon movie.  We also borrowed a book from Steven King.

Friday, my friends and I, went to a corn maze that’s not scary but a daytime maze.  We originally was going to another one that was 4  acres but it was closed on Friday so we went to one in Moorpark called, Underwood Family Farms, that was 2 acres.  It’s a cute pumpkin patch with farm animals, pumpkins, and other things to do.  The news was there, so it must be a good one, right? 🙂  Anyways, I’ll definitely go back there again, someday.  They have a really good strawberry ice pop made with real strawberries!  Good for a hot day.

Later, me and a couple friends, went to Room Escape.  You’re locked in a room with a total of 10 people.  They put you in with your goup and other groups, totalling 10.  You have 1 hour to escape by finding clues.  There’s a zombie that is chained to the wall.  His chains losen every 5  minutes and if he touches you, you sit out but can still yell out to help.  This was fun.  The zombie’s not scary and we were running around by the end of it to not be touched.  We got all the clues except the last, so we did not escape.  But we had a good time. 🙂

Saturday, we went to Sushi Dans (yumm), then to Baskin Robins for dessert.  We went to EK for a bit then I headed home, cause I had to be up early.  Sunday, my mom had labs.  We were going to see a movie but instead came straight home.  My friend came over, later and we swam in my pool.  Monday, I just ran errands and went home.  We’ve been watching, The Voice.  Today, Tuesday, I’m taking my mom to see The Purge then later in the evening, I have RPG.
